Cost Comparison

Flight Training Cost Analysis...

Here is a comparison of time, money and safety when you use us as your instructor as compared to the national flight school average. We do not claim to be the cheapest organization, We just claim to be the best! However, we usually are the cheapest by default due to our low average total flight times. Do not be fooled by organizations that quote you a total price to get your license or rating as this is just an estimate usually based on minimums only. I calculated my totals based on my student averages and not minimums, so the only logical way a flight training organization can be lower priced than us is if they got you your license in less time than We could.  So while a school might typically quote you a price of $5,500 to $12,000, the actual cost to get the license is normally $15,000 to $20,000 provided you even get the license in the end!!

Other things that you might want to consider is the costs associated with
bad training:

Cracked cylinders due to shock cooling (very common)- $4000 to $8000
Prop strike (also very common)- $30,000 to $50,000
Gear up landing- $80,000 to $100,000
Premature engine rebuild due to poor engine techniques- $25,000 to $50,000
Poor maintenance- Countless thousands
Excessive vibration issues- Thousands

These are just some of the many issues that I have observed throughout my instructing career that have happened needlessly due to poor training. I am proud to say that this has never happened to any of my
former students due to proper techniques that they were taught by myself. My training program teaches you how to avoid all of the following mistakes. These things need to be factored in when shopping around for your training as well...
